What is LCCC
LCCC (Leadless Ceramic Chip Carrier) is a packaging technology that serves as a platform for mounting and interconnecting integrated circuits onto a printed circuit board. Unlike traditional packages, LCCC does not have leads extending from its body. Instead, it utilizes metalized pads on its bottom surface for electrical connections. This leadless design offers several advantages, including a reduced package size, improved electrical performance, and enhanced thermal management capabilities. LCCC packages are particularly useful in applications where space is limited and high-frequency performance is required. By eliminating the need for leads, LCCC enables more compact and efficient PCB designs while maintaining reliable electrical connections.
