What is Entry Material
Entry material is a thin layer of material that is placed on top of the panel before the drilling process. This layer is typically made of phenolic, aluminum foil, or paper. It enhances drill accuracy and prevent the formation of burrs and dents during the drilling process.
By acting as a substrate or base material for drilling holes in PCBs, the entry material plays a role in achieving precise alignment and minimizing entry burrs. It ensures optimal registration for small hole PCB requirements, contributing to the overall quality and reliability of the PCB.
