What is Develop
Develop refers to the PCB development process, where the design of a printed circuit board is refined and improved through iterative cycles. This stage aims to eliminate errors and validate the performance of the PCB design. The development process typically involves prototyping, where the design is repeatedly refined until it meets the desired specifications and requirements.
During the development stage, several tasks and activities are carried out. These include drawing the schematic, selecting components, creating the PCB layout, and generating the necessary design files. Additionally, the Bill of Materials (BOM) is defined during this stage, outlining the intended components and specifications for the design.
Once the design is finalized, the development process progresses to the build stage, which involves the physical construction of the PCB. This stage includes board fabrication, where the PCB is manufactured, and PCB assembly, where the components are placed onto the board.
Following the build stage, the PCB undergoes testing in the test stage. The purpose of testing is to verify the operation and performance of the board. In some cases, additional testing may be required to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
