What is C-Stage
C-stage is the condition of a resin polymer when it has reached its solid-state and final state of cure. At this stage, the resin polymer has a high molecular weight, making it insoluble and infusible. It is an important phase in the manufacturing process of PCBs, as it signifies the completion of the curing process for the resin polymer. During the C-stage, the resin polymer undergoes a chemical reaction that transforms it into a solid material with the desired properties for PCB fabrication. This solid-state ensures the stability and durability of the PCB, as the cured resin polymer provides mechanical support and insulation for the electrical components.
