W branży PCB obraz odnosi się do danych wizualnych, które można wstawiać do dokumentów w celu wzbogacenia ich zawartości lub dostarczenia dodatkowych informacji. Te dane wizualne mogą być w różnych formatach plików, w tym BMP, JPEG, PNG, GIF i TIFF. Aby wstawić obraz, dokument PCB musi być otwarty i aktywny w widoku 2D. Dostęp do opcji wstawiania obrazu można uzyskać, przechodząc do menu Narzędzia główne, następnie wybierając Umieść, a na końcu Obraz.

When inserting an image, choosing one with a transparent background is recommended for the best quality. Certain types of images, such as barcodes and QR codes, may have noticeable white space, which automatically becomes transparent when opened in the PCB software.

Once an image is inserted, it can be manipulated in several ways. It can be rotated using the SPACE key for a counter-clockwise rotation of 90° or SHIFT+SPACE for a clockwise rotation of 90°. Additionally, the image can be flipped along the x-axis or y-axis using the X and Y keys, respectively.
