What is Connection

Connection refers to the lines that represent the electrical connections between different components or elements on a PCB. These connection lines establish the flow of electrical signals between various parts of the circuit.

The visibility and management of these connection lines are important considerations for PCB designers. To address this, the PCB editor provides features that allow designers to control the display of connection lines. During component moves, all connection lines are automatically hidden, providing a clear view of the PCB layout. Additionally, users can cycle through different display options for connection lines, such as Breaks, Hidden, or Pad To Pad, by pressing the N key in movement mode.
